Statistics: Russia’s platinum output falls 38.4% in December

MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s output of unrefined and semi-refined or powder platinum and platinum group metals decreased 38.4% on the year and fell 19.2% on the month in December, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Friday without disclosing absolute figures.

Silver output fell 17.4% on the year and 8.9% on the month.

In 2018, the output of platinum and platinum group metals dropped 8%, and of silver rose 3.9%.
